@mm4731:

I laughed so hard because she has made that complaint before but I'm here to tell you her print and cursive will blow you away. I actually have her write out my checks or any paper work we have. When she truly writes you think an adult did it. Of course she is a kid so is messy at times but on something like this no one would have believed a child wrote it......lol 4951

Huh, pretty impressive!  I sometimes can't read my own writing (cursive) so I had to learn to print real fast back in college! 4951

@Burnsway:  If I slow down, my cursive is much better.  I'm glad I don't write many checks in a store line!

@Burnsway My favorite parts of those notes are; "You may pet me gently", "Have some coke", and also how the list that is so grown up and random, has "bubble stuff" as the last item. I think your daughter and I would be great friends. 4951

@topcat: Reason I took a picture of the Easter bunny letter is from a grown ups perspective it almost sounds perverted...told hubby its gotta be one of those show your future hubby to embarrass you letters... EmoticonThe ingredients list made me hope she wasn't building a dang bomb....LOL When she finally showed me the book of experiments and the ones she wanted to do it actually did say stuff to make bubbles....HA!

BTW,,,She actually left that letter by her bed and I picked it up while she slept and printed out a snap shot of an Easter bunny and left it by her bed framed.....LOLAnd yes I drank the coke too...HA!(It was stale/flat as heck)Back to legos though...that young lady is correct....they have the friends line and now they are doing a Disney princess line but other than that its only about 1/4 girly legos and 3/4 boy stuff....LOLAnd she needs to add that they are way over priced! 4951

Legos used to be about imagination.

@fcabanski: They still are...they are about imagination, building on your own, used as manipulatives in math, can be used with gears and stuff for kits in science and some are themed kits and are good for learning to build by directions. Im sure the little girl was talking about colors and themed kits being geared more towards boys and she is correct they are except for the friends and Disney line,I just really wish they were not so pricey!
