Anyone able to take a vector file and make the background transparent so that when I add it to stuff it shows up over color without having a white block behind it like clip art? Apparently its quick and easy and you can do it in one of the Adobe Suites, but I don't have the program...I'd greatly appreciate it. If you can get it done for me I'll make you a custom dog collar (that's what my business is and what the vector logo is for). 4951
I am going to try the program download. I had the file made for me so I guess the artist made the box around it. Really I just want the image itself, so I need to get rid of the box. Tried the "ungroup" with no luck.... 4951
Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded the program but it did not help. It downloaded about 5 programs that are advertisement/popups/crap to buy. I am now uninstalling them all. I wouldn't recommend this program, it craps up your computer! Thanks for the suggestion though. 4951

@allymansfield: If the file is actually vector Inkscape and ungroup should do the trick. Any questions just ask. 4951

You can also download a trial of corel draw. My guess is you dont have a vector file. Why dont you just go back to the guy that created the file and have him fix it? 4951
I did, however, when I downloaded the program off the website it only downloaded junk (clean your computer, virus control, web browsers, etc.) Nothing actually called Inkscape unfortunately. 4951
