I dont know bout the roads but my truck doors are iced closed not to mention the door handles can't open right now.  LOL thats my hint to go back to bed! 4951

They're okay but watch the bridges. Had to drive from Northpark to the front of Kingwood Dr and the bridge that runs across that long drainage ditch is iced over. 4951

Any and all surface streets are perfectly fine.Most overpasses and bridges are still effectively frozen.I saw many, many people this morning on my trek inside the loop to work that were in, on, beyond the walls with wrecked cars. SUV operators were the #1 casualties as it seems most believe AWD/4WD exempts you from the laws of physics.Keep the wheel straight or apply gentle steering input on frozen surfaces. Keep out of the throttle and stay the hell off the brakes. You'll be fine. 4951

@mattem: heard the bridge is really bad!  Wont thaw for a few more hours.  I would stick it out at home for sure.

@MTechnique: I tried explaining this to my DH last night.  He drives a pick up which will fish tail all over.  We all slide the same on ice.
