I think my daughter has a 6th sense where she senses when I'm eating something sweet that I don't want to share. I waited until I was in the room alone to put a mini chips ahoy cookie in my mouth. Before I could even bite into it, DD yells "mommy!" & runs in here telling me her potential snow plans. Mind you, she's been in the same room with me since she got home from school, so I figured she'd gone to play. So I'm sitting here typing this with a cookie in my mouth. (I'm paying attention to her while I type, but she's been going on for like, 5 minutes & she's on the floor petting the cat only looking up at me occasionally while she's talking.) I can't bite into it, she'll ask me what I'm eating. I can't lie because she'll smell it. (Kids are like rabid dogs around sweets.) She does this EVERY TIME I have a sweet that I don't want to share. It's too close to dinner for her to have cookies. She does it every time though!Do your kids or spouses have any 6th senses?
@Heathur: I miss the days when I could buy a bag of chips and actually have some left in the pantry when I want some the next day. *sigh*
