To a Super Bowl party. Asked if I could bring something got a "that be great!" Then informed the host has Celiac disease? Anybody have any tried and true gluten free recipes? 4951
@Heathur: Make whatever you want and then use pinterest to find a cute little sign that says: Â "Don't eat this if you are allergic to gluten" ....and my wife says I'm not compassionate... 4951
Bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapeno's (ask her what brand of cream cheese is safe)Salad with fresh veggies (no croutons, pre-made salad seasonings or breaded items) (dressing not mixed in so she can use her own safe dressing)A fruit trayA veggie trayIf you want to bring chips and dip ask her for the brands she buys as there are many that are safe and many that are not. Example salsa and tostito type chips or Bean dip with regular potato chip depending on brands some are safe. Those are ideas that require no special effort at the grocery store. There are a lot of Gluten free products for baking but if you don't know what to look for on the label stick with the ones on the Gluten free isle and /or that are labeled as such. My wife can not eat gluten and it is hard to do get togethers because people don't understand that just a little can cause a huge reaction. @cat person 4951
I'm drinking a angry orchard hard cider with my dinner and right on the bottle it says naturally gluten free. Who knew? I might just bring some of these bad boys! 4951

Most products are really good about labeling themselves gluten free. Target has some awesome chips that are gluten free and I know the hummus up front is as well.If you are worried, Walmart and Target are the best stores to shop b/c they clearly label all their products that are g/f. Sidenote-if you make something with cheeses-make sure you buy the block and not shredded. Shredded cheese can have gluten in it. 4951
