at 6. P.m Monday jan13. I finished the last pack. I got a nice e cigarette with two flavors and 0mgs of nicotine. It's not the nic it's the hand to mouth thing. Gonna stay busy, there is plenty to do around here. Hubs is home and we have some cedar fencing to replace rotten boards . Oh and I start my garden center job on February 1st! For this diversion I am thrilled! I will use this thread to vent should I want to kill a human or throw objects or if I'm about to lose it. I doubt that happens, but this will be my safe place. Carry on. 4951

Best of luck, take it one day at a time.   I haven't begun yet... I'm so bad! My husband needs to stop buying cigarettes, yet he blames me that he's still smoking.  Like any change in your life, you are the only one who can do it for yourself. 4951

@cgm10sne1: My real good friend always mentions the E cig to me. She quite smoking when she had her first child, he's almost 22 & smokes! It truly pisses her off.  But better for her! I worked with a guy who tried the e-cig & it didn't work for him. But he was trying more for financial reasons, than to give up a bad habit.  Do they sell them in pharmacies or the grocery store? I've never noticed them anywhere. I think I just may try that.

springvapor.com/Yes its a bit of a trip, but they're great. They all know what they're doing, they make their own juice on site, its made for you when you order it. They also have a tasting wall, so you can try flavors before you buy them.  4951

If you go with juice and a battery, you can choose the nicotine level in the juice, and just keep stepping it down until there's no nicotine in it at all. I don't believe  this is true of those pre-packaged e-cigs like Blu. 4951

@cgm10sne1: Best of luck to you!  I thank God everyday that I never tried / started smoking when I was a kid.  I never could stand the smell of the smoke.

Great decision! Good luck to you! I hope this is allowed on this site, but I wanted to tell you of a resource that I give full credit to for my second quit in 2001. I thought I had hit 'submit' on first try, so if there is a double post, that's why. The site is whyquit.com or 'freedom from tobacco.' They do not let you join until you have quit for three days and the information and support they provide is priceless.
You can do this! So can anyone else --information sets you free! 4951
