How about a trade!!  Emoticon  Would you be willing to exchange goods or services from your local business for plenty of advertising from now until Kingwood Park High School's Project Graduation in May? Some 1000 families will participate in this project from now through May 24 of this year. All of these families will see your business name and know that you donated to the community's children. We can use just about anything that you could see your way clear to donate in exchange for your business name being put out there as a donor....silent auction items, restaurant certificates, gift certificates, all kinds of goods and services. Emoticonlease consider getting involved in this annual community event. Project Graduation saves lives and you can help.  And it's a 501c3 organization so your donations are completely tax deductible!!  Emoticonlease send a private message through this site and let me know how we can work together.....thank you! 4951

@Heathur - it's a lock-in senior party that starts at 11 pm the night of graduation and ends around 5 am the next morning. I guess the thought is that the kids will not be out driving around and celebrating and possibly getting into an accident. 4951

I volunteered at my son's Project Grad - worked from 11 pm to 3 am. I could not stay awake any longer - so I drove home. Luckily, I only had a short drive but I was exhausted. Then, I went to bed when I got home and was worried about my son driving home at 5 am after being up all night. 4951

@Heathur:  Project Graduation was conceived over 20 years ago after 18 teens lost their lives in drug and alcohol related car crashes following their high school graduations. They spend the night together somewhere (in this case, Main Event) and party together without alcohol. @jls2: KPark kids will be taken to Project Grad by bus and returned by bus the next morning. This to prevent sleepy driving!  4951

@QueenB - so, KPark has their Project Grad at Main Event? My daughter is graduating at KHS in May and I think it is at the high school. It would be a lot easier to go to the Main Event. The KHS one requires countless hours of decorating and organizing to the point of being too much. I work full time and don't have the time to devote to volunteering. 4951

@jls2:  They had a vote for either Main Event or the high school. The students voted for Main Event. The work that goes into this project is incredible, but worth it. There aren't many volunteers at KPark though.

Have you gotten anything from culvers in kingwood? If you have a flyer take it up there in the afternoon I'm pretty sure they would donate! 4951

@GoldenGirl: They don't have giveaways but they do have a silent auction! A donated item would have the donor's business name at the top of the bid sheet. Pretty cool for an auction to donate for an auction! Emoticon
