I have a 100 year old strativarious (spelling ??) model violin that I would like to sale. I have no clue where to go to try and accomplish this. Any ideas? TIA 4951
Omg, why are you selling that?? It's a total collectors item!
Please don't do anything rash. I'd google violin collectors here and contact an expert in that area about what you want to do bc if you aren't informed it could cost you a fortune! 4951
I've held onto it for ten years and it is just collecting dust in my attic. It's in need of some work but I know that someone out there would get real enjoyment out of it. 4951
Thanks! I've had it appraised and while it's worth a good chunk of change it is a model and not an original strativarious. I will look them up. Thanks again!! 4951

@fallon: I have a temperature controlled "texas basement" that we use as the attic. But I will follow your advice and bring it down just to be on the safe side. 4951
My son plays guitar and has several of them. Â He is so careful about them because fluctuation of temperature can ruin the guitar. Â This would not be any different than with any other musical instrument. Â Do not leave the guitar in a car either! Â My son makes sure he takes his guitar out of the car immediately. 4951
