I have been working in customer service all of my professional career. I strive to better myself and become the best I can in any situation I am put in. I have a lot of experience in many fields, so I can shift gears and look for new possibilites quicker then most. I always bring my "A" game and strive for excellence!

Work History / Experience:
Robert’s French Restaurant October – February
Prior to Robert closing the restaurant to retire, Ben worked as a Chef’s assistant. Ben started working as a waiter’s assistant performing bus boy duties, appetizer preparation, customer service, and supporting the wait staff. As Ben proved his reliability and skill he took on more responsibilities including pre-prep of foods for Chef Robert, dishwashing, and some cooking. Ben was specifically requested by the wait staff to handle large events because of his hard work, good attitude, and efficiency.

Hilltop Christian School September –March
Ben was asked to fill in at a private Christian school as a - grade teacher. Ben worked with the school staff and the principal to provide stability to this small class of children. Ben was active in gaining their trust, helping to build their self-esteem and particularly excelled at teaching math. Ben was respected by Faculty, Students, and Parents.

Keith Warren, LLC March – August
Ben worked for this small home remodeling company on a very successful renovation of a duplex. Ben was tasked with a variety of duties indoors and out. Ben was involved in demolition, painting, sheet rock, plumbing, electrical, doors and door jams, flooring, gutters, yard work, fence repair, and minor roofing. Ben often worked independently on this project, and is a quick learner.

Delta Mattress August –May
Ben went to work with Delta Mattress upon moving to Eureka to start college. Ben performed delivery duties; driving the truck as well as the delivery and setup at the customer location. Ben received freight, including unloading of the semi’s that deliver to Delta. Ben performed sales duties, and was responsible for data entry for the sales and merchandise portion of the store bookkeeping system.

WinCo Foods May – July
Ben performed as a cashier during the brief time he was with WinCo. A quick study, Ben became one of the fastest cashiers within just the first couple of weeks of employment. Duties included: customer service, and cashier responsibilities, balancing the till, and ordering currency as needed.

Eureka Humboldt Fire Extinguisher Company, Inc. July – August
Ben is a State Certified Fire Extinguisher Technician, gaining his certification in the fall of . He is responsible for inspection and recharging of fire extinguishers in accordance with State Law and Guidelines. Ben also performs customer service duties in store, often opening and closing the store. Ben does on site Fire Suppression system inspections and maintenance including all aspects of customer service, billing, and collection. Ben is also responsible for the delivery of two hundred pound compressed gas cylinders to customers. It is common for Ben to have to move eight hundred pound liquid tanks and deliver them to customer’s shops.

Digco Utility Co. August - Present
Ben is a Gas Meter service technician. His responsibility is to insure that natural gas flow to customer’s house is restored and no gas leaks are present. Ben deals with customers on a daily bases, in and around their homes. He also exchanges old or defective gas meters or meter sets to insure continued safety for the customer and all surrounding individuals. Ben also enters customers’ homes to inspect there gas equipment to make sure they are safe to operate. If there is a leak Ben follows set procedures to maintain the safety of the customer and other members of the community.
