Humble & Kingwood
Humble, TX is a small town and commercial center located 2 miles south of Kingwood. Humble (with a silent 'H') is home to many retail and commercial organizations, including the Deerbrook Mall. Humble was a crossroads community in 1870, named for its founder, Pleasant S. Humble, a San Jacinto River ferry operator who arrived before the Civil War.
