"During the Beginning of the year I bought some certificates to help fight a cause for kids and redeemed my 2 certificates at Beckwith's car care. I own a Jeep purchased last year in Aug and nothing was wrong with it until my first oil change.On this oil change everything went smoothly until my power started to cut out while driving down 59 on my way home from the Beckwith's shop,in Humble. I made it to the off-ramp and coasted to a stop,called a mechanic friend and he told me my terminals were both loose and one of them was missing a bolt.So it was a dollar fix but I could imagine what it would have cost to take it to a shop to figure it out.On my second trip I brought my socket set with me and before I left had to tighten the terminals,go figure.Before I got home a bug hit my window used my sprayer and that's when I realized my wind-shield spray was broke on the drivers side. I figured it was probly empty until the the other side worked. I just letting everyone know my experience with Beckwith's Car Care."

"Took my 2007 honda rancher 420 there for a shifting problem, this is when the nightmare began, they had my bike for 4 mths and kept telling me that they couldnt focus all of their time on my bike when i was paying the same labor rates as the other customers, then the tall chubby guy, called and said the ecm(computer) was bad, so they changed it, still not shifting, so then they said the angle sensor was bad, so they changed it, still not shifting, then they came to a conclusion that it had a bad wire running to the starter....really! Then cliff potter called me and said my atv was ready and my total was 731.58. I Took off of the the next saturday to go get it, when i got it home it was not shifting right at all and i had 8 bolts missing, so i called there and talked to the guy who worked on it an he said uhhh well i dont know whats wrong with it, so the following tuesday i took the atv to the honda dealer where i bought the bike from, when i explained everything to the mechanic there he laughed, and said that all of the parts that were changed would have had nothing to doith with the shifting problem. I called and spoke with cliff potter and he told me that he wished i would have brought it back to them and i told him i couldnt wait anoher 4 mths, and i told him about all of the bolts missing and he said he would buy new bolts, and to let him know what honda came up with to let him know and he would take care of me, well hond called and told me the shift motor was bad all along and that it was 216.36 to change it and replace all the bolts that were missing. I told honda to go ahead that potterosa cycle was going to take care of the bill like he told me, well when i called cliff bqck he told me he wasnt paying for anything and that i had no warrenty on the work performed, i instantly contacted a family lawyer to get a suit filed, he and honda both said that i should at least be refunded the 400 and some odd dollars of labor. The lawyer is in the process of getting everything together and honda did give me the broken parts for court, and has even offerd the mechanic to testify on my behalf, i know havr my atv back from the honda dealer and it is working as good as new. I personally would not recommend taking anything to potterosa cycles and atv on fm1485 in new caney tx"

"i HAD TAKEN MY 2007 MINI COOPER TO ANOTHER TRANSMISSION SHOP, WAS CHARGED 6000.00 AND THE SHOP WAS NEVER ABLE TO GET MY CARS TRANSMISSION TO WORK. i THEN CALLED A FRIEND WHOM REFERRED ME TO MR.TRANSMISSION ON 1960. GREAT CALL! THEY TOWED MY VEHICLE IN AT NO CHARGE AND WITHIN 3 DAYS HAD MY VEHICLE BACK TO NORMAL. THE MANAGER HARVEY WAS SO HELPFUL AND THE TECHNICIANS WERE WELL TRAINED IN THE REMANUFACTURING OF MY COOPER TRANSMISSION AND THEY ALSO HAD MY VEHICLE REPROGRAMMED. MY WIFE IS VERY PLEASED WITH HARVEY AND THE EXPERIENCE THAT WE HAD AT MR.TRANSMISSION WILL NOT SOON BE FORGOTTEN. THANK YOU HARVEY. I WILL RECOMMEND ANYONE I KNOW TO YOUR SHOP."

"This man mike is horrible. I paid 500$ down to have him begin building me a custom rearend for my camaross. I had my car stolen and couldnt do anything with the rear end so we both agred to have him sell it and then refund my deposit. Now 3 months later i try to reach him on his cell phone with calls and texts to no avail he doesnt answer or return my calls. Do not use his business as he is not honest at all the man will rob you blind!!"

"I have a 96 BMW that had failed a state inspection for the check engine light. I brought in my car for diagnostics and they found that my gas cap would not screw down properly and was causing the check engine light come on. I was so relived that is was not anything major. They got me a new gas cap and they told me to drive my vehicle about 30 miles before it could be inspected. After I drove it I took to get inspected and it passed with flying colors."

"Beware is all I can say. Been there twice. 2 different vehicles , both for oil changes and
received estimates for close to 1000.00 in repairs for both cars. Took to my local repair guy a few doors down and found out most of waht they said was not need. Beware."

When you work in car rental you deal with car dealerships,mechanics,and auto repair all day long. You see what they say and do behind closed doors.NOT PRETTY.Anyways,with that said, we went to George with baited breath because we didn't know if he was going to be one of those horrible mechanics.
HE IS QUITE THE OPPOSITE!We have taken our cars to him on 2 occasions and he has done fantastic work. He is a stand-up,honest,and knowledgeable mechanic. George went out of his way to find the most economical ways to get our cars up and running again. His team was great as well! We will be going to George as long as we are in Kingwood! If you need a mechanic go to this shop! You will be pleased and his prices are the absolute best."
